A programme Study Centre of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been established at the Police Training College in August 2016 as per the DGO Y2/170417/2015/PHQ dtd 04/08/2016. The Programme Centre providing certain courses to the Police personnels as well as the Ministerial staff of Kerala Police. Public persons can also join this courses, which mostly discuss with the law oriented subjects.
The Vice Principal of Police Training College Shri. Arunkumar S is the Programme Co-ordinator, Shri. Jayakumar is the Part time Assistant of the Study Centre. Admission process can be done by online through the official website of IGNOU, the link is provided here onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in

Admission open for Jan 2021 session. Last date of online admission is 31-03-2021. Police personnel and Public can join the particular courses without any age bar. A proposal is under consideration of State Police Chief that the recoupment of course fee of the Police personnel who are procurring highest marks in each course.
