Training Team (TT)

        Training team is responsible for imparting outdoor training to the recruit trainees. Training Team is functioning under the supervision of an Armed Police Inspector. Armed police Sub Inspectors and Havildars with extensive experience in training are deputed under Training Team for imparting basic training to the recruits. The mission of Training Team is to equip the recruit trainees with the skills, knowledge and physical conditioning necessary to respond effectively to high risk situations and to perform more efficiently and effectively in their roles. Apart from basic training to recruit trainees, modified lathy drill and pistol training to in-service police personnel are also carried out by the training team. Likewise Pistol training and physical training is also being given to the Customs Inspectors. Main parade ground is situated close to the City police Commissioner's office. There is also another medium parade ground inside the PTC Campus.
